The role will include all general secretarial tasks such as audio and copy typing, filing, photocopying, faxing, ensuring all outgoing correspondence is made presentable for clients etc. as well as receiving and making calls to clients and other offices' staff, receiving visitors to the office, incoming and outgoing mail duties and courier deliveries and supplier queries.
Other responsibilities will include:
- dealing with day to day queries to and from the firms offices around the world;
- diary management;
- travel arrangements;
- dealing with incoming and outgoing mail;
- liaising with external bodies in the UK and abroad
- file management
The above list is not exhaustive.
Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a secretary is essential as is accuracy, attention to detail and good typing speeds (i.e. between 50 and 60wpm) with. Other requirements:
- to following work instruction/procedures
- to work on own initiative
- good communication skills
- the ability to prioritise, take instruction and work under pressure
