Maintenance Manager - Weekends

8.30am to 5.00pm - Monday & Friday, 7.00am - 7.00pm - Saturday & Sunday

£35k per annum plus benefits

TM Resourcing are currently working with our Castleford based client to recruit a Weekend Maintenance Manager.

The successful candidate will be managing the onsite Maintenance Team ensuring that first line response to all breakdowns in maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring minimum shift cover levels are adhered to through the correct deployment of resources

• Monitoring unplanned breakdowns

• Proactively monitoring and ensuring internal planned maintenance is completed

• Attending daily production meetings, ensuring all follow up actions are agreed

• Ensuring adequate stock levels within the engineering stores to enable unplanned repairs

• Ensuring the department regularly meets and/or exceeds it's KPI's

• Auditing work completed by the engineering team

You will need:

• Experience in a supervisory role, leading multi-disciplined teams

• An electrical/mechanical apprenticeship

• Experience in managing legislative requirements including Legionella, PSSR, FWIT, PAT

• The ability to work to tight timescales whilst keeping standards high

• Strong organisation skills coupled with a proactive and flexible approach

• High level knowledge of PLC Control with the ability to monitor the PLC Code live

• Experience with fault finding in control panels, electrical control gears and systems

• High level knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearmotors, pumps and fans
