Fire & Security Alarm Engineer - Peterborough
My client has an immediate vacancy for a fire and intruder alarm engineer to join a busy, established team based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
This role is required due to ongoing business growth, and is a permanent position offering training and development with long term progression prospects.
My client provides a quick and professional service to customers ensuring their needs are met. Working with business owners, property agents, schools, hotels and facility managers who require electrical and fire safety services. Ensuring compliance with latest regulations, and being on hand to solve urgent issues, repairs, installations and maintenance servicing.
Candidate requirements:
- Electrical engineering trade qualifications with knowledge & understanding of electrical disciplines.
- Commercial / construction / industrial background.
- Able to work within a team or individually to complete installations of various levels of electrical projects.
- Carry out installation and commissioning of a range of instrumentation systems.
- Complete installation, service and repair to electrical control systems.
- Experience of working on industrial installations, generators, and 3 phase low voltage and extra low voltage circuits.
- Customer focused attitude, taking pride in providing high quality workmanship.
- Adherence to Health and Safety procedures.
- Excellent problem solving skills with ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Great communication skills with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Organised, reliable, on-time and smart appearance.
- Full, clean driving license.
What's on offer?
Work area: Mobile, mostly East Anglia.
Hours: 40hrs Mon-Fri between 0700 - 1700 (flexibility to work evenings and weekends).
