7.5 Tonne Drivers - Days - Golborne

£9.50 - £12.00 per hour, plus holiday pay, plus incentives (Free Class 2 upgrades)

We are looking for not one, but three 7.5 tonne drivers to work ongoing as part of a double-man team, delivering home furnishings throughout the region for a prestigious client based in Golborne.

This job will suit drivers who want sociable working hours on days with a start time of around 07:00 am and an average shift length of approximately 10 hours duration. We are looking for some commercial driving experience (van driving is fine) and the client is willing to give new pass HGV (7.5t) drivers a chance. You will need a good level of physical fitness because the furniture is often bulky and manual handling is a must in this role; that said you will be working with a driver's mate to assist with the loading/unloading.

There are great rates of pay on offer and overtime opportunities available at weekends paying premium rates as follows:

PAYE - Monday to Friday - £9.50 per hour and £12.00 per hour for weekends.

LTD - £1.00 per hour extra in lieu of holiday pay.

Plus, for both PAYE and LTD drivers, if you give us 6-months ongoing and excellent service we'll offer incentives upgrading your licence to a Class 2 at our expense.

Successful applicants will be:

• 5 tonne driver
• Smart and customer friendly manner
• Good level of physical fitness
• Digital tachograph required
• Full drivers CPC essential
