Are you a new pass Class 2 Driver who is struggling to get your driving career off the ground? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class 2 driver who would like a permanent position working on nights for the largest independent retail baker in the North West of England and they are prepared to give a new pass drivers a chance, providing you have some solid commercial driving experience on vans or 7.5 tonne vehicles.

The job involves loading baked goods on wheeled trays onto your vehicle, then making deliveries to bakeries all over the North West and the Midlands. You will work nights with start times varying between 18:00 and 21:00 on a rotating shift pattern which will include you enjoying 3 long weekends off every few weeks and some days off in the week. For those who want to earn extra, overtime is available if you want to work one of your days off. You will do an average of 10 drops per day and will have ample time to perform the drops safely.

For the first week you will work alongside an experienced driver to learn the ropes and you'll need a good sense of responsibility because part of the job is letting yourself into shops after closing time and securing the premises on departure.

You can expect to earn £10.50 per hour plus a generous amount of holiday pay and will transfer over to the company as a permanent employee after 12 weeks. You will have a minimum of a 40 hour working week.

You will need:

• Some commercial driving experience on vans or 7.5 tonne vehicles.
• HGV Class 2 licence
• Drivers CPC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
