Brand Manager
Circa £40,000

Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a Brand Manager to join a fast growing and award winning personal care and cosmetics manufacturer based in Peterborough.
They are offering a competitive, senior level salary of circa £40,000 depending on experience.
Monday to Friday office hours.
The Role
As Brand Manager you will be responsible for driving brand performance in key market channels in the UK and overseas. You will improve brand P+L, image and market position in line with the larger market.
You will drive Brand awareness, Sales and NPD (New Product Development) through the business, ensuring high levels of customer service at all times.
Other responsibilities include:
- Initiate and drive strategic brand plans for each product to maximise business and total sales.
- Monitor and improve the company's delivery of brand strategy.
- Work closely with the customer to identify new product opportunities and assist in developing their brand.
- Take on a strong understanding of the clients processes and requirements
- Develop and implement marketing communications and activities
- Lead commercial development for the brands
- Ensure product development complies with all legal, regulatory and other standards
- Consistently be investigating external environments to identify opportunities and issues. Considering alternate scenarios and present choices to the business.
- Understand the consumer needs and how the brand performs vs other brands. Understand target audience.
- Manage a small team - 2 direct reports.
- Present new and innovative ideas to the business.
Key areas of this role cover:
Brand performance and management, NPD Management, Sales and Commercial Management, Supporting Sales and monitoring trends and innovation.
To apply for the role Brand Manager you will need:
- Proven Brand Management and Team Management experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak to customers, clients and internal colleagues at all levels.
- Have previous B2B experience within FMCG or Manufacturing.
- Be confident in decision making and be able to professionally 'push back' if necessary.
- Be passionate about healthcare & Beauty and have good product knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commercially astute
- Able to work efficiently in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
- Take intuitive to self-manage your workload without the need for micro-management/'hand holding'.
- Be open, honest and hard working.
- Ideally have a 2:1 degree qualification or above.
