JOB PURPOSE:
The Videographer, as part of the innovation and video team, will aid in the growth of video
output by ensuring improved quality and innovation in this field. This role covers all parts of
video production and editing for a wide range of outputs from Social media and youtube to
DVD's and showreels.
The role is part office/ part location based and, alongside the rest of the team, prepares,
shoots and edits all video and audio productions. A key part of this role is going beyond the
purely technical aspects of videography and understanding our subjects, the content and the
audience of every video to maximise effectiveness.
As a team with a wide breadth of responsibility from in-house to client work the ability to
work to tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously is essential.

THE ROLE
* Understand and define great briefs for commercially effective video for a wide range of
stake holders across the business.
* Design, transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting
equipment, for field and studio productions.
* Operate video cameras, on location/studio, to produce professional pre-recorded content.
* Configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated
production equipment
* Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair video equipment, with maintenance record
* Manage work schedules effectively, ensuring times are adhered.
* Familiarise and keep abreast of live event, AV (video & audio), ensuring issues arising are
dealt with promptly and efficiently
* Support departments in the production of video/audio assets.
* Ensure expertise in professional audio and/or video editing and post-production
procedures, techniques, and standards.
* Maintain equipment inventory, field and studio production schedules.
* Keep track of and learn from other influencers in the industry.
* Catalogue video materials for use and repurposing.
* Other job-related duties as assigned.
