We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Chain Skip Wagon Driver who would like to work for one of the largest family owned and operated scrap metal recycling companies in the North West. The work will be long-term, no January down-turn and temp to perm opportunities will be considered for those who are interested.

This job will suit drivers who want sociable working hours on days with a start time of around 06:00 am and an average shift length of between 8 and 10 hours duration.

You will need experience in the field because the job involves driving and operating chain skip vehicles and excellent safety awareness is a must when working for this company. Good people skills are also important because you will be dealing directly with the customers.

Great rates of pay on offer! For PAYE it's £10.50 per hour plus a generous holiday accrual. Limited drivers are also welcome and will earn an extra £1 per hour in lieu of holidays. If overtime is required on a Saturday it will command an hourly rate of £12.50.

Plus, for both PAYE and LTD drivers, if you give us 6-months ongoing and excellent service we'll offer incentives upgrading your licence to a Class 1 at our expense.
