Description

TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are looking to recruit a multi skilled maintenance engineer for a company based in Edenbridge.

Due to continuous growth our client are expanding and looking to recruit a multi skilled maintenance engineer to join their team, A successful candidate would be required to look after all of the maintenance on-site.

As maintenance engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant and equipment, tools and systems used in manufacturing.

Your core activities will include conducting periodic maintenance checks, planning equipment upgrades and machinery modifications, identifying faults, investigating equipment breakdowns and monitoring the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out.

Roles & Responsibilities

A multi skilled Maintenance Engineer in addition to trouble shooting and repairing all Machines in the factory including

  • x3 CNC Routers

  • x3 CNC Water-Jet Machines

  • CNC Vertical Contour Cutter amongst many more

* Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance on machines

* Organising routine servicing schedules

* Responding to breakdowns

* Diagnosing faults arranging for replacement parts to be installed

* Repairing equipment

* Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

* Creating maintenance procedures

* Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.

Key skills for maintenance engineers

* An ability to work well under pressure

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Relevant technical knowledge

* Problem-solving skills

* Efficiency and organisation

* Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate

In return our client is offering

  • A competitive salary dependant on experience

  • Working hours 8.30am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)

  • Overtime available
