MI Analyst - Located in Cambridgeshire - St Ives
- To maintain and develop a suite of established MI reports and data files to agreed timescales.
- To identify and develop appropriate and efficient means of report distribution.
- To aid with the analysis of MI reports where required.
- To develop data extracts/feeds to facilitate the fulfilment of manual products.
- To assist managers with ad-hoc data requirements.
- To configure, setup & execute scheduled and ad-hoc reporting packs.
- To work with operational managers in each department to draft reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop suite of established MI reports and data files to agreed timescales, with consideration of the most appropriate means of distribution (email, FTP, self-service etc.). You will also have responsibility for various data extracts and feeds to facilitate the fulfilment of manual products and also the delivery of data to third party systems.
- Ensure all distributed MI and reporting is timely, consistent, meaningful and that high standards of quality and accuracy are maintained.
- Aid with the analysis of MI and testing results with the specific objective of identifying pricing opportunities.
- Meet client and internal requirements for ad-hoc reports, data and queries.
- Continuously improve systems and data handling to remove manual processes and streamline working practices to drive efficiency in the MI team.
- Communicate complex issues to business users at all levels, to explain what reports and data means in a way that can be understood by all.
- Support the business with expert technical and data related knowledge.
- Proactively identify processes for development and improvement.
- Contribute to overall achievements of required KPI's by maintaining agreed personal targets.
- Adhere to the company Security Policy and escalate any breaches accordingly.
- Professionally represent the company at all levels.
- Abide by all Security Policies and Procedures as advised. At no time to attempt to gain access to any part of any system unless authorised.
- To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager.
- To adhere to Company processes with regard to FCA compliance and Treating Customers Fairly.
- To ensure that DPA, FCA, TCF and other regulatory requirements are met.
