TM Resourcing - (Technical & Engineering Division) Are Looking for a Skilled Tooling Engineer woking in the Caping Department
Job Title: Capping Department Tooling Engineer
Job Description:
Applications are invited for internal applicants for the position of capping department tooling engineer, developing into a supervisory position.
Reporting in to the Works Manager, The Capping Department Supervisor will be responsible for all of the duties listed below
Initial Responsibilities:
Managing the departmental workload and orders in line with production planning schedule
Maintaining process systems in line with work instructions, control plans and proven work practices.
Maintain Standards and Quality systems for ISO 9001:2015, TS 16949 IATF and AS9100 along with both Health & Safety and Environmental management systems
Maintain and repair capping machines.
Develop and manage the build of new capping machines, in liaison with the Design Department
Manage staff and resource to maintain customer satisfaction
Develop 5's best practice and promote continuous improvement
Develop departmental team and identify departmental training requirements.
Skill Requirements:
Fully conversant with the use of Tool room machinery, such as lathes, millers and grinders.
Experienced in the assembly of complex tooling, special purpose assembly equipment or machine building.
Experience:
As the role will develop into a supervisory position, supervisory experience would be an advantage, however training and development will be given to the successful candidate.
Experience of pneumatic assembly systems and welding experience would also be advantageous.
This is a Full Time Permanent Position working Days
Hours of work
37 hours a week - plus over time available Salary £28,000 - £31,000 DOE on experience
