HGV Class 2 Driver Days

Mon - Fri  £11.00 - flat rate

Ongoing work leading to a permanent job..!

My client is looking for 3x drivers. You are responsible for ensuring that customers receive their deliveries in a timely fashion and in good condition. You will be driving Class 2 HGV work delivering carpets mainly to stores and warehouses.

Full training will be given on your first day of use of the onboard winch to assist with unloading

Typically starting around 0600 - 0800 and approximate finish around 1900 but some flexibility maybe required. 

Key Responsibilities

• To manage and organize designated delivery notes 
• Driving the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Prompt dealing with issues as and when they occur, keeping in touch with our Transport Admin Team to ensure we can keep our customers updated..
• Ensuring all documentation is correct and submitted on time.
• Comply health and safety and site rules
•  

Personal Specification

• You should possess a sound working knowledge of legislative and highway regulations
• You must possess a valid and clean UK Drivers license with no previous convictions.
• Applicants expected to have experience driving LGV C+E/Class 1 vehicles and have a good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• You should have good communication skills and be willing to assist customers

Applicants must have the following:

• Hold a Category C (Class 2) HGV/LGV entitlement with a minimum of 2 years experience for insurance purposes
• Hold a valid digital tachograph card (digi-card)
• No more than 6 points on your license; DR DD IN endorsements are not accepted
• Full CPC
• Polite and pleasant personality
