Production Operator (Dayshift and Backshift)

Taskmaster is excited to be recruiting for a brand new client based in Bellshill that is the UK’s leading supplier of rope-grown mussels and cultivated Pacific oysters.

Our client’s farmers produce mussels and oysters of the highest quality in the pristine seas of the West coast of Scotland and the Shetland Isles. Our client’s mussels are grown on ropes hanging in the sea, ensuring they are succulent and sweet tasting.

We are urgently recruiting for our clients back shift team who operate Monday to Friday 6am until 2pm or 2pm until 10:30pm. The positions are full time and temp to perm after a 12 week probationary period.

• An immediate start on Monday 5th July 2021
• £9 per hour starting rate of pay
• 1.5 over time rate after 38.35 hours Monday to Saturday
• Double time on a Sunday
• Temp to perm contract after 12 weeks
• Weekly wages every Friday from Taskmaster

What we require for our client:

• Experience working within a busy food manufacturer (Preferred)
• Local candidates due to start time being 6amand finish time being 10:30pm
• Your own transport if you are not local due to start time being 6am
• Excellent work ethic with a can do attitude
• The willingness to learn and develop within the role in order to move forward with the business as they really would like candidates with the desire to move into more specialized jobs within the business

This is a NON smell factory due to it being shellfish and can offer guaranteed full time hours that are temp to perm contracts after 12 weeks.
