HGV Class 1 (Non ADR) Vac Tanker Drivers - Kendal and Lancaster Utilities

£10 to £22 per hour, Average 3 Shifts per week/Monday to Friday Days

We have two exciting opportunities for HGV Class 1 Drivers who would like to work ongoing, on a part time basis for a prestigious North-West Utilities. This company keeps the taps flowing and the toilets flushing for 3 million homes and 200,000 businesses across the North West.

The position will suit someone seeking part time/flexible work looking for between 3 and 5 shifts per week (possibly someone looking to take semi-retirement or wanting to achieve a better work/life balance). You will need to be able to work out of sites in both Kendal and Lancaster. Normal working patterns are days Monday to Friday with early starts but you might sometimes be asked to work weekends so you will need to be flexible in terms of working availability.

The work involves driving an Articulated HGV Class 1 Vehicle and the operation of a Vacuum Tanker. A full paid induction and training will be given.

All Taskmaster Drivers get a CHOICE!!

Applicants joining us on a PAYE basis can expect to earn between £10 and £22 per hour as well as accruing up to 28 days paid holiday per annum.

Limited drivers are also welcome and will command an extra £1 per hour in lieu of holidays.

You must also have the following:

• HGV Class 1 Licence with less than 6 penalty points
• A Full Drivers CPC card
• Digital Tachograph Card is essential
• Previous Tanker Experience is advantageous but not essential
