Office Supervisor - Located in Peterborough
Reporting to the Telesales Manager and Sales Director you will be responsible for twenty one telesales staff across six sites.
The primary role of the office supervisor is to support the ambitions, direction and strategy of the Telesales Manager and in turn the company. The office supervisor will act as office manager in the Telesales Managers absence and will help deliver key pieces of work that will help improve the productivity and professionalism of the Telesales function. The office supervisor will operate as an ambassador and embed the direction provided to Telesales staff from the Telesales Manager and will provide a conduit relationship to other departments.
Requirements:
The role of office supervisor at my clients company will involve but is not limited to the following tasks:
- Oversee and provide Telesales support to a small group of customers on a daily basis.
- Build the calling queues in conjunction with the available staff, supported by the Telesales Manager and designated system super users.
- Hold morning huddles to pass on key communication in the absence of the Telesales Manager.
- Provide reporting on a number of key performance indicators such as attendance, call volume, inbound and Outbound, gap analysis, call integrity and account base reporting, staff performance and engagement and call scoring completed during side by side coaching sessions which will eventually be completed remotely.
- Act as a deputy for the Telesales Manager not only for the Peterborough office but for all sites.
- Attendance at other sites as and when required ore directed by the Telesales Manager.
- Contribution to the formal annual appraisal process.
- Displaying and delivering high standards of customer care and sales technique at all times to act as a role model to existing staff.
- To drive Telesales targets and help with product sales research and sales reporting.
- To provide support to purchasing, marketing, accounts and logistics as and when required with tasks that have associated Telesales touchpoints.
- To contribute to a professional and efficient Telesales environment through the production of visual data and ideas that are aligned to sales growth.
- To meet as and when required with the Telesales Manager to discuss sales strategy, staffing, policy updates and changes, system migration or any other Telesales related way of working.
- To administrate staff holiday requests and time off for Drs appointments etc.
- To diarise a sales narrative that helps the business understand what contextual issues were happening when data is reviewed at a later point such as staffing levels, bank holiday dates, weather and any other measure that could impact sales negatively and positively
- To own and maintain core data tracking information.
- The skills, experience and qualities required to professionally execute this role to the standard that is now required will be the following.
- 2 years minimum in a people management or supervisory capacity.
- Advanced excel skills to be able to prepare, compile and analyse data, coupled with strong computer literacy.
- Strong customer service and sales experience.

Salary: £26,000
