£14.00 to £21 per hour/daily retainer bonus/no breaks deducted/generous holiday accrual

We have several exciting opportunities for HGV Class 1 Non ADR Tanker Drivers to work on an ongoing basis for United Utilities. These roles will suit drivers who want to achieve the perfect work/life balance because whether you are looking for full time work or are perhaps looking to slow things down a bit, or even semi retire we have a work pattern to accommodate you.
The role is basically driving a Class 1 articulated tanker filled with water from A to B with no loading/unloading involved and the work is of a non-physical nature. The role is on standby relief at home from 22.00 to 06.00am and you might be called out at any point between these times. We may need a bit of flexibility on these times on occasion. Some weeks you will literally be earning without having to turn a wheel.
You will receive a standby retainer of £71.28 per day. If you are called out you will receive £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.50 per hour for Saturdays and £21.00 per hour for Sundays in addition to the standby retainer. NO BREAKS WILL BE DEDUCTED, plus you will accrue an extremely generous amount of holiday pay.
