Full time Ongoing - Mon to Fri Day Shift – Overtime at the Weekend
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hard-working individual who would like to develop a career in United Utilities. You will be assisting the Team Leader to prepare farmer’s fields ready for our team of HGV Drivers to deliver loads of fertiliser. The team lays interlocking metal mats which are laid down on the fields to create ‘temporary roads’ for HGV vehicles. The operation must be performed without churning up the fields and upsetting farmers.
To be successful you will need a good level of physical fitness because the job involves a fair amount of manual labour including jet-washing the metal mats and possibly digging. You will also need to be prepared for long days. You’ll earn a great rate of pay £11.00/hour Monday to Friday. Overtime will be paid at time and a half after 48 hours per week and at weekends you can earn between £15 to £21 per hour.
As well as a lucrative weekly wage you’ll also accrue a generous amount of holiday pay.
