- Waste Operatives
Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Waste Operatives to work for our client based at their site at Milton, Cambridge.
Duties will include:
- Sorting household and commercial waste from a pick line into plastic, wood, brick, metals.
- Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing.
- Inspect materials for any contaminations.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications.
- Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times.
- Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety.
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Being physically fit for this role is essential.
- Able to use own initiative.
- Must be able to work with noise and dust.
- Organised and able to manage their own time effectively.
- Follow health and safety rules.
- Works harmoniously with others to get the job done.
Shift: The role is 5 days a week on a 7 day shift pattern (will include weekends and working until 8pm)
Pay rate: £10.90ph
Position will become permanent for the right candidates.
