- SUPPORT TECHINICIAN ROLE – 3D PRINTER MACHINE MAINTENANCEFULL TIME ROLE – IDEAL IF YOU ENJOY WORKING WITH TECHNOLOGYWe are recruiting on behalf of our client who are seeking a Support Technician to join their team and help carry out 3D printer machine maintenance alongside front line support to their customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repairs and testing of 3D printing equipment in a variety of environments., from small offices to large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Alongside machine repairs, other responsibilities will include;• Email and telephone customer support• Machine fault diagnosis, repairs and upgrades on all technologies• Offsite customer support performing machine repairs, installations and training• Print bureau and reverse engineering opportunities• Document all services carried out and provide regular progress reports to managementRequirements:• A valid driver's licence is required for this role, as the successful candidate will be required to travel across the UK• Passport to attend international training events with multiple manufacturers• Prior experience of additive manufacturing• Technical aptitude and experience with software, hardware, and networking systems• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously• A degree is not necessary, but relevant qualifications or training in engineering or technology are desirable
