- Purchase Ledger Clerk
Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerkfor our client based in Oundle.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger system.
- Record and process invoices, credit notes, and other relevant documents.
- Verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Address supplier inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Ensure timely resolution of any payment or invoice-related issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within a finance or accounting department.
- Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes, including invoice processing and payment procedures.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Pay rate: £11.80ph
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am-5.30pm
