Description
Purchase Ledger Clerk
 
Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerkfor our client based in Oundle.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger system.
  • Record and process invoices, credit notes, and other relevant documents.
  • Verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Address supplier inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
  • Ensure timely resolution of any payment or invoice-related issues.
 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within a finance or accounting department.
  • Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes, including invoice processing and payment procedures.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
 
Pay rate: £11.80ph
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am-5.30pm
