Temp to perm opportunity
Taskmaster have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to join our client based in Freuchie, Fife.
Our client operate a bustling and busy café serving hot and cold meals, cakes and pastries and have earned a loyal local customer base.
You will be joining a well-established team, where your duties will include (but not limited to):
- Preparing cakes, pastries and set menu items required for breakfast and lunch service
- Cooking and serving orders to meet restaurant demands
- Following relevant food hygiene and health and safety requirements
- Assisting with the preparation of daily specials
The role is very fast paced and will be ideal for someone who has worked in a restaurant previously. We are looking for you to have a creative mind-set, passion to try new things and a vision to help enhance the service offered.
The hours of work will vary between seasons where you will be working 21 to 24 hours per week. Overtime is available to help cover holidays and sickness.
No weekend working
From April to October the hours will be 9am-5pm
From November to March the hours will be 9am-4pm

- Knowledge and experience of working as a chef in a busy kitchen
- Looking for dayshift hours working between 21 - 24 hours weekly
