Taskmaster are delighted to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Kirkcaldy to find them the best production supervisor to lead and support the production department.
In this “hands on” supervisory role, the successful candidate will have a flexible, proactive and versatile approach to work with a “no compromise” attitude to health and safety. You will have experience in supervising people and basic knowledge of maintaining a processing plan in a busy production environment. In addition, the successful candidate will have experience in production optimisation.
Hours of work are extremely sought after within this area and work well with the “work, life balance” our client offers 7.45am – 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am – 1.30pm Friday.
Job duties, responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Hold daily tool box talks
- Ensure production teams have all necessary work sheets and products
- Supervise, support and be “hands on2 to ensure production targets are met
- Liaise with production manager on a daily basis with production updates
In order to be considered for this exciting role you must:
- Have previous on the job experience working / supervising within a busy production environment
- Have a “can do” attitude
- Have the ability to motivate the production team in order to maintain a nice working environment
