- Description
Taskmaster are currently recruiting an experienced labourer who has experience of working in a busy precision engineering machine shop environment.
Main Duties- Keeping the work space clean and tidy, which will include sweeping the floors and swarfing out CNC machine tools
- Making sure the coolant in the machines are topped up at all time
- Offloading and loading HGV's using Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Trucks
- Helping loading and unloading large components on and off the machine tools
Skills
- Experience of palletizing finished components and be able to use manual strapping equipment.
- Experience of handling deliveries of raw material.
- Must be able to use a fork lift and have an up to date Fork Lift licence.
- Must be conversant with overhead lifting cranes and ideally be recently trained on the safe use of such equipment.
- Must be fit and prepared for manual labour
- Not afraid to get stuck in and work extra hours as and when required.

Shift pattern - Working hours 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3.00pm Friday.
Pay rate - Hourly rate to be discussed but we do pay over minimum wage.
