Office Support
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent fitness equipment suppliers. Our client is looking for a highly motivated Office Support, based in Whittlesey, Peterborough.
Key duties to involve:
- Management of trade accounts and individual consumers.
- Building new client relationships whilst maintaining and developing existing business.
- Preparing proposals for trade accounts.
- Negotiating terms and pricing with the client.
- Manage the constant flow of inbound leads and converting into sales.
- Preparing quotations to meet customer requirements.
- Preparing invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Taking card payments from customers.
- Ensuring customers are kept up to date from point of sale through to delivery.
- Answering inbound sales calls and making outgoing calls B2B and B2C
- Communicating with clients over the telephone, email, and in person.
- Updating our stock management system.
- Putting together stock forecasts and ordering stock to ensure a continuous supply of products.
- Organising container and pallet shipments (Overseas and in the UK).
- Liaising with the supplier based in the USA.
- Dealing with customer queries over the phone and email.
- Overseeing marketing for the brand as well as helping create content for promotions and social media posts.
- Allocate tasks to another member of the team.
- Prospecting, making connections with potential new businesses.
About the candidate:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Well organised, strong administratively with a good eye for detail.
- A positive bright personality with a “can do” attitude.
- Experience with Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel.
- Competent use of Internet and e-mail system.
- Ability to manage own workload.
- Ability to work to sales targets and KPIs.
- Can think clearly under pressure, multi-task, and work with minimal direction.
Hours: Tuesdays and Fridays: 8am-5pm and Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 8.30am-5.30pm - 42.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.67 per hour.
