Our client is looking for a 16 Seater Minibus Driver, based in Bristol.
Job description:
We have a fantastic opportunity for Drivers to join our clients new Community Care Team based in Bristol. Our client is looking for experienced drivers who hold a D Licence, D1 Licence (without 101 restriction) or PSV Licence to join the Demand Response Transport (DRT) team to provide a door-to-door service. As a Driver you will work as part of a team to transport members of the local community in a 16-seater, wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Main Duties:
- Responsible for a high standard and safe transportation of clients.
- As a Driver you will work as part of a team to transport members of the local community in a 16-seater, wheelchair accessible vehicle.
- Drive our vehicles within the operating zones and in accordance with the standards required in the company’s environmental policy.
- Check the vehicle prior to use in accordance with the daily vehicle checks list reporting any accident damage, defects, or deficiencies immediately and replenishing stock, as necessary.
- To report any safeguarding concerns/incidents or accidents to your line manager.
- Undertake all training that is required for the role. (Driving, PDA training etc).
- No Experience necessary as training will given.
Successful candidates will have:
- A full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
- Will hold a Category D Licence, or D1 licence (without 101 restriction) or a PSV Licence.
- Have to have Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification.
- Be an effective and confident communicator.
- Strong customer service and people skills.
- Naturally demonstrate team collaboration.
Pay: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour
Hours: 07:00 -19:00 or 19:00-07:00 - Monday-Friday. Weekends (part-time) available. Overtime is available.
