We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers who would like to work on a very prestigious contract exclusively through Taskmaster for Lanes Group. Operating out of their sites in the South . The utilities organisation keeps the taps flowing and the toilets flushing for 4.7 million customers across the region. The beauty of these jobs is you will know exactly what time you will start and more importantly what time you will finish every day!
The work on this highly sought after contract whcih involves driving an HGV Vehicle and to operate a Vac Tank. A full paid induction and training will be given. the shifts are long and you can achieve a good work and life balance you can also be flexible in terms of working availability.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tanker vehicle to transport liquid sludge
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
- Deliver waste product to designated locations while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with the client regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid and appropriate driving licence (C or C+E)
- Proven experience in commercial driving,
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance
- Previous delivery driver experience is highly advantageous
- Ability to navigate and manage routes efficiently
