Client Relationship Consultant - Located in Peterborough.
Salary: £18k basic, depending on experience - (additional monthly financial incentives)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented administration professional to join one of the largest retirement income brokers in the UK. My clients organisation is booming, hence they are rapidly expanding and require an experienced, dedicated and well organised admin person, preferably with a background in financial services but not essential.
My client specialises in retirement income, providing a vital service in helping retirees by shopping around for a better pension income.
They are one of the largest brokers in the UK, arranging annuities and drawdown plans directly for the general public. The excellent service my client offers is also acknowledged by over 2,500 Independent Financial Advisers (IFA's), who refer their annuity clients to them. Their non-advised service is conducted with their clients, both online and over the phone, providing them with the most favourable rates from the UK's leading insurers.

Key responsibilities
- The purpose of the role is to provide excellent customer service and deal with all incoming queries and correspondence related to the purchase of the client's annuity in a timely manner whilst ensuring the highest of quality is maintained.
- To ensure a polite, friendly, efficient and professional service is offered at all times.
- To accurately complete database system and ensuring client files are maintained to a high standard.
- To constantly and proactively look for ways to improve service through performance, communications, procedures and systems.
- To support the Admin/Management team as required.
Knowledge and skills requirements
- Ability to establish effective relationships with clients at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel. Training given on our bespoke Computer Systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills - team player.
- A strong focus on processes and controls.
- Competent Numerical skills.
- Methodical and 'right first time approach.
- Understanding of the Pensions/Annuities industry an advantage, but not a necessity.
- Awareness of the regulatory and legislative framework (FSA, DPA etc) an advantage, but not a necessity.
Requirements or Qualifications
- Financial Services admin experience essential.
