Interviewing Immediately - £30k per annum plus weekend pay, plus holiday pay
Monday-Friday (Very Occasional Weekends - paid extra) - NO HANDBALLING!
We have an exciting temp to perm vacancy for a Class 2 Driver to work on a temp to perm contract for an independent freight & logistics organisation specialising in hazardous and non-hazardous distribution based in Burscough.
This job will suit drivers who want the security of a full time permanent job working for a company that really cares about their employees and is ideally suited for an experienced driver who enjoys being on the road. Based on a 5-day week you will start early on Monday morning and will do between 1 and 3 nights out. The rest of the week will be local deliveries. A bit of flexibility is needed because there might be very rare occasions when weekends are required, but this will command extra pay on top of your salary.
The successful candidate can expect to earn a generous salary of £30,000 per annum and this company invests in drivers. The successful candidate will also receive an ADR course as part of a full, paid training programme, which will give you 21 hours towards your next CPC.
The job involves driving a Class 2 curtain sided vehicle with inbuilt pressurised pumps to disperse chemicals. You will deliver to various locations around the UK. It will suit drivers who are keen to progress and are happy to work hard during the week providing they can enjoy every weekend off!
You will need:
- HGV Class 1 with less than 6 penalty points
- A full drivers CPC card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- 12-months HGV driving experience.
- ADR preferred but not essential.
