Based in Grantham
Our client is a Lincolnshire based MSP, providing IT support and consultation to small and medium businesses primarily in the East Midlands.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced IT Manager to provide 3rd line and 2nd line on-site and remote support to clients and to lead a team of four engineers. The role reports directly into the Service Manager and is a dynamic and rewarding position.
You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT network. As the IT manager you will lead a small team of IT Analysts. Your role will include on-site support, remote support, installation and maintenance of equipment, monitoring of systems, network surveys, implementing IT projects.
You will also take responsibility for the customers IT strategy and Line of Business applications. You will represent the company at technology focused conferences and events.
The role requires an excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow and improve upon procedures, work to tight deadlines, good customer service skills, a high level of technical capability, a proactive innovative approach and experience of automation.
Experience with the following technologies is a requirement: -
Windows Server 2012 and 2016
- PowerShell
- Windows 10
- Office 365
- SharePoint
- Veeam
- VMware vSphere and vCentre
- Cisco IOS [optional]
- Cisco Call Manager [optional]
- ITIL or service desk management [optional]
You must have worked in a professional IT company for a minimum of 4 years and hold as a minimum a MCSE or CCNA qualification (or equivalent) and a valid UK driving licence.
This is a full time position based at tne Grantham office.
