TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are proudly recruiting on behalf of a long-standing sub contract machine shop based in Leeds.

Our client is an ISO9001 accredited manufacturer with over 40 years of experience in the sub-contract manufacturing sector. The company supplies a number of markets, everything from Food Processing to Subsea work, many of their customers have been with them since the companies humble beginnings.

The company has a range of Milling & Turning centres to ensure they can meet and exceed their customers' demands and expectations. Their plant list is made up of various Heidenhain and Fanuc controlled CNC machinery as well as a few conventional machines (centre lathe, grinders etc.)

Batch sizes within this company can vary from 1 offs to 500 offs (average between 1 & 50) and depends on their customers requirements. Because of the varying batch sizes, this role will suit somebody who enjoys all aspects of machining - programming, setting and operating.

Over the last 5 years, the business has sky rocketed and revenue has increased by 200%. The company also got off to a flying start this year, with Q1 sales up almost 50% on the previous year.

What are we looking for?

• Ideally time served/apprentice trained

• Comfortable machining to tight tolerances and deadlines

• Commitment to becoming part of the team for the long-haul

• Proficient with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls

• Experience using One CNC (the company are currently in the process of implementing offline programming)

• Conventional machining experience

  • Mon to Thurs - 7AM to 4:30PM

  • Fri - 7AM to 11AM

• Overtime available 90% of the time - paid at time and a half
