- We are looking for a Head of Property Management to join our growing team city centre team
The Role
Our client is one of the leading property specialists is looking for an experienced Property Manager to lead the property management team. Working from the Cambridge office the Head of Residential Property Management will be responsible for:
- Completing inventories on properties prior to tenancies starting
- Inspecting properties during tenancies and providing a report to the landlord
- Carrying out final inspections at properties.
- Submitting final inspections reports and claims
- Negotiating claims and disputes with former tenants and landlords
- Working closely with our property maintenance partners valuing damages and claims.
- Assisting in managing our growing portfolio of HMOs
- Managing the diaries and workload of other property managers within the business
- Striving to ensure excellent levels of customer satisfaction across all interactions
- Ensuring that all property maintenance requirements are dealt with promptly and professionally
- Maintaining high standards of property condition and compliance with HHSRS and local and national licensing conditions
The successful candidate will possess the following;
- An enthusiastic success driven personality is essential.
- The ability to communicate confidently, clearly and be well-spoken.
- The ability to set and manage client and colleague expectations. It will be essential you can multi task without compromising service standards.
- Lead a small team to ensure company targets are reached and promote a positive working environment
- Able to manage busy diaries whilst remaining organised
- Be self motivated to work out of the office
- Flexible to support other roles
The successful applicant must have a good basic understand of property maintenance or a great degree of common sense. They will also be able to confidently handle challenging conversations with tenants and landlords leaving both parties feeling that they have had their claims and explanations fairly represented in a calm and professional manner.
A full driving licence is required and use of a company branded pool car will be provided for all business appointments.
The salary is negotiable for the right candidate: £24,000 - £27,000 (subject to experience)
Expected hours and days Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
