Description

New Business Development Manager

Looking for a highly motivated and capable Business Development Manager to join a marketing digital agency in Peterborough.

The client have delivered web, software and digital marketing services for the past 15 years to local, national and international companies, we are still as motivated as ever to grow the brand.

Experience in the digital sector is a must, along with digital marketing and website solutions you will be consulting clients on how to best maximize their budget to get the best ROI, so a commercial mindset is also a requirements. Your key responsibility will be to drive, manage and close pipelines of new business opportunities, ideally suited for someone who has previous digital agency experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Main responsibility is to create a lead generation plan, how to most effectively generate good quality leads for the company to pursue.
  • Ability to identify and qualify real value opportunities
  • Identify key decision-making, influential stakeholders and build positive and persuasive relationships
  • Verify leads - ensuring they will get the best out of our services and vice versa
  • Creating well thought out proposals or presentations
  • Delivering on performance, working independently and be process driven
  • Securing new client accounts
  • Presenting your business on a weekly basis to Management
  • Work with marketing team to effectively leverage marketing assets to ensure strong business building relationship management with strategic prospects
  • Oversee the co-ordination of inbound new business opportunities and manage the timely handover to our digital teamPerson Specification:
    • A history of over achievement in a sales role
    • An excellent understanding of working in a full-service digital agency
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills
    • Experience of embedding a high performance and customer culture in your daily work
    • Confident, out-going and resilient personality with energy, enthusiasm and a passion for excellence
    • Knowledge of Content Management Systems including Wordpress, Magento (or similar)
    • Knowledge of Digital marketing (SEO, Paid Search and Social Media)
    • Strategic thinker - ability to look at the bigger picture and understand how to bring together multiple digital assets to deliver long term success for our clients
    • Driving licence - Full UK driving licenceIn return you will receive:
