- Our Client in the Leigh area is looking for Production Operatives to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
Duties:• Selection, weighing & mixing of ingredients for further processing• Cleaning of mixers & hoppers before and after each batch• Ensuring the workplace is clean, safe & tidy• Accurate recording of products produced for shift traceabilityMain duties include packing products (non-food) in a timely manner, mixing & weighing products, manual handling of boxes up to 25kg as well as some other general warehouse work as & when required.The role invoices working with powder coating and can get quite dusty (PPE provided)Personal Requirements: -• Forklift licence desirable although training will be provided to successful candidates.• It is essential that the candidate has previous experience of working 6-2, 2-10 & 10-6 shift pattern in a manufacturing environment.• Candidates with prior experience in a similar manufacturing position essential.• Candidates to have a recognised qualification in Maths & English• Previous warehouse & manufacturing experience would be advantageous.Shift Times are on a 3 weekly rotation outlined below:Week 1: AM Shift - Monday-Friday 6am-2pmWeek 2: Night Shift - Monday-Friday 10pm-6amWeek 3: PM Shift - Monday-Friday 2pm-10pmFlexibility with the shifts is needed and there will be opportunities to work overtimes.
