- Operational Controller
Taskmaster are currently recruiting for an Operational Controller for our client based in Stafford.
Duties
- Logistic planning.
- Scheduling work to multiple gangs county wide.
- Instructing Pot hole repairs, finding other work which needs completing and filling Engineers diary.
- Leading Meetings with Depots to describe work which was put on, what traffic management will be required.
- Forecast plans.
- Previous Highways knowledge desirable.
- Scheduling background would be good but doesn’t have to be Highways – could be from Seven Trent, Amazon Delivery planning etc.
- NRSWA Ticket knowledge would be beneficial.
- PLEASE NOTE: Scheduling experience is essential for this position.
Skills/Experience
- Previous work on a highway’s maintenance contract.
- Worked with relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Supervised others (desirable).
- Identified opportunities to improve the service we deliver.
- Planning / co-ordination of multiple teams.
- Operational knowledge and understanding of the market and industry.
- Detailed awareness of NRSWA and Permitting – desirable.
- Computer literacy – Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook.
- Basic programming of work.
Pay Rate:£25,000 per annum (£12.82PH)
Hours:Monday to Frida, 8am – 4pm - This is a 5 days working in the office role, however opportunity to work from home once the probation period has ended.
Temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
