Day Shift Waste Operative
Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Day Shift Waste Operative to work for our client based at their site in Corby, this is ongoing work.
Duties will include:
- Sorting household and commercial waste from a pick line into plastic, wood, brick, metals.
- Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing.
- Inspect materials for any contaminations.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications.
- Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times.

Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety.
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Being physically fit for this role is essential.
- Able to use own initiative.
- Must be able to work with noise and dust.
- Organised and able to manage their own time effectively.
- Follow health and safety rules.

Works harmoniously with others to get the job done.
Temporary to permanent job with lots of progression for the right candidate. The successful candidate will also be trained to work on 360 diggers, FLT, excavators if taken on permanent!
Shift: Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:00. Occasional overtime available on Saturday, this isn’t compulsory.
Pay rate: £10.42 per hour + up to £45pw bonus after a qualifying period.
