Driver Trainer – Shunter Instructor
£180.00 Per Day PLUS holiday pay
We are looking for experienced instructors to join our team from the logistics sector for a variety of roles including a large blue-chip company where we provide a national service for shunter driver instruction. The ideal candidates will have experience in similar based roles which provide training. However, we also train the trainers in a variety of relatable roles which may be offered to you. The shunter training positions will be supported by a team of dedicated appointees who can ease you in comfortably, arrange your inductions and bring you up to speed with the processes, policies, SSOW, RAMS and introductions to the company and client base.
We aim to build a nationwide network of training facilities throughout the country to cover a variety of related industry requirements, with training at the forefront of its provision to this sector.
Preferred qualifications.
- Shunter driving certification ( or experience )
- C+E driving licence
- A form of teaching or training qualification e.g., pttls, AET2/3, train the trainer certification etc.
- Other related qualifications to the logistics sector welcomed.
- Delivering a positive training experience to candidates
- Driver trainer experience
- Support to the project you are involved in on a day-to-day basis, candidates, clients and third party individuals.
- Creating a positive company image towards the clients.
- Communication through correct channels and escalating defects, problems in a timely manner to affect a proactive outcome.
- Imperative that you can work independently without supervision.
- Delivering power points to classes of candidates and client representatives
- Testing and invigilation of test environments both practical and clerical.
- Some mild computer experience including provision of a laptop or similar
Nationwide opportunities, travel is included in the rate offered, however bespoke arrangements may be offered for distance and overnight stays.
