- Recycling Operative – Milton, Cambridge - £10.90PH
Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Recycling Operative (progression into a Team Leader after a qualifying period) to work for our client based at their site in Milton, Cambridge.
Duties may include:
- Sorting recyclables into correct areas.
- Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing.
- Inspect materials for any contaminations.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications.
- Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times.
- Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety.
- After a qualifying period our client would like the successful candidate to progress onto a Team Leader position.

- Being physically fit for this role is essential.
- Able to use own initiative.
- Proactive approach.
- Organised and able to manage their own time effectively.
- Communicate with people at all levels.
- Follow health and safety rules.
- Ensure high standards of professionalism at all times.
- Be flexible to adapt to changing demands and conditions.
- Works harmoniously with others to get the job done.
- Be confident to take on a supervisory role after a qualifying period.

Pay rate: £10.90 per hour – after a 13 week qualifying period, the position will become a Team Leader role, where there will be an enhancement to the pay rate.
