- Telesales Advisor - Orton Southgate, Peterborough.
Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit an Telesales Advisor to join the expanding team of our well established client based in Orton Southgate, Peterborough.
Objective:
To make outbound calls to existing and lapsed customers to increase order value and number of sites ordering.
Duties:
- To make outbound calls to existing and lapsed customers to increase sales and increase customer numbers. Target to make minimum 50 outbound calls and have minimum 10 good customer conversations daily.
- To fact find and gather information on the customer such as their current suppliers, footfall on site, most liked products.
- To update the order system and also excel sales lists with information gathered and also communicate back to the Senior Sales Team and Office Manager relevant information for follow up.
- To be aware of the full product range and promote products that suit the clients need.
- To sell in monthly promotions to client based on brand discounts.
- To assist the Senior Sales Team with reporting and sales analysis.
- To respond to inbound calls where required if other team members are busy.
- To input orders daily onto our Orderwise software and produce picking notes on occasion.
- To assist the Senior Sales team with new sales enquiries.
- To field customer queries and investigate any issues as and when required.
- To liaise with Operations on stock issues and communicate out to the sales teams
Requirements:
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Ability to build customer relationships.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office software – specifically Excel.
- Previous experience selling over the phone.
- Customer service experience.
- Self motivated.
- Positive attitude.
- Tenacious.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week.
Pay rate: £23k - £26k experience dependent plus commission.
