Are you looking to join an established bakery team based in Lochgelly?
TM Scotland Fife & The Lothians are extremely excited to be working in partnership with a brand new client that is a family run bakers. Our client believes in using traditional baking methods and processes where they can, focusing on product freshness and quality of ingredients.
We are looking full time Bakery Operators to add to the team long term or alternatively a pool of candidates who are happy to work flexible week to week on our availability list. Our client requires availability over the course of the week and this can be any day from Monday to Sunday. – The shift allocations will be based on what days our client requires additional support on, however if you are looking for full time hours, performing in the highest of standards and working well within the teams then you will be offered a contract working 5 out of 7.
Hours of work are:
(Please note, you can be requested to work any day Monday to Sunday)
Day shift 6am – 2:18pm
Night shift 5pm – 3:18am / 3pm – 1:18am
What will your duties and responsibilities be as a Bakery Operator within our client?
- Maintaining a smooth production line
- Conducting quality checks on supplies and produced goods
- Assisting at various stages of the production line
- Picking, packing and labelling of produced products
- Follow strict hygiene & H&S policies

What do TaskMaster require for you to be considered for the role?
- Experience working within a fast paced environment, ideally within a food manufacturer / production or similar background
- Passionate about team work and delivery
- Someone who takes great pride in presentation and enjoys working in a busy production / manufacturing environment.
- Local to the site or someone who has transport, due to the hours of work it is essential you can get to and from safely
- Food Hygiene certification would be a massive advantage.
- Be open to working on a 4 day on, 4 day off rota in 2024.
- A reference from a previous employer or educational studies within the last year
