Mon to Fri (plus one weekend/month on-call)

Earnings up to £43,000 (including performance related bonuses)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who would like a full time, permanent position working for the Utilities Division of Taskmaster Resources Limited.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our utilities team to fulfil an on-site support role for our prestigious utilities client with the ability to manage the compliance and day to day requirements of our team of HGV drivers.

The successful candidate will need experience of working in an ever evolving, busy, thriving Utilities environment, be willing to work across multiple sites and be used to managing people. You will also need experience of working in a Utilities /logistics environment.

You will need to be a quick thinking, effective decision maker with the ability to resolve problems as and when they arise. Good communication at all levels is also important because you will be forging relationships with both clients and drivers alike.

Reporting directly to the Utilities Support Manager, this job will suit someone with organisational skills, of a confident nature and willing to spread their working week across 2 customer sites at Ormskirk and Warrington as well as spending one day a week at our office in Wigan.

The successful candidate will need:

·Transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence – Desirable

·A proven track record of managing people including staff disciplinary proceeding/holidays etc.

·A knowledge of Drivers Hours/Manual Entries/Working Time Directive.

·Ability to managing and maintain our Driver Training Matrix

·Experience in accident investigation

· IT Proficient in Excel ,Microsoft ,Outlook ,WM system’s

·Producing KPI Reports

·Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.

·Auditing skills to meet client compliance requirements.

·Able to remain calm and act quickly to support incidents.

Your working week will be Monday to Friday on days and you will be expected to take at turn to man the out of hour’s phone for one week a month.
