Have you got a multi skilled maintenance engineering background with an electrical bias? Do you want to work for an organisation that has a massive impact on the lives of every day people? Have you supervised and/or managed staff previously?
If so, this could be the role for you.
We are currently recruiting for an Estates Officer to work for one of our NHS clients based in Bradford. The role is initially working for 6 months, with the right candidate starting ASAP.
The main duties will reverberate around having responsibility for the operational management of the Engineering, Building and Grounds maintenance teams. This will involve:
- Planning and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance duties.
- Supervising and delegating tasks to members of the maintenance team, including contractors.
- Working to agreed completion times, making sure that any delays are communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all electrical works comply with the relevant legislations.
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring health and safety processes are followed.
- Inspecting engineering systems.
