Construction Site Cleaner
Location: Peterborough
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:15 – 16:30 (approx.)
Weekly Hours: 35 – 40 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Construction Site Cleaner to join a busy and fast-paced site based in Peterborough. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various areas of the site to ensure a safe and tidy working environment for all workers and visitors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys working independently and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of the construction site, including site cabins, welfare facilities (toilets, changing rooms, canteen areas), and general walkways.
- Sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and emptying bins as required.
- Ensuring cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately.
- Reporting any issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to site management.
- Assisting in maintaining health and safety standards across the site.
Skills & Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is essential – industrial or site-based cleaning experience is highly desirable.
- CSCS card is desirable but not essential – the client is happy to arrange this for the right candidate.
- Good awareness of health & safety standards on a construction site.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Physically fit and able to manage manual work throughout the day.
