Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a Production Manager for our client based in Peterborough (PE2).

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Working hours: Monday to Friday: 7am - 3.30pm (some flexibility is required)

Job Description:

• Ensure all Production staff KPI’s are achieved.
• Continuous development of Production staff, processes and equipment to meet the ongoing demands of the business.
• Ensure all jobs are scheduled to make maximum use of the resources available.
• Develop Lean Manufacturing within the company.
• Analyse performance of production staff to measure to ensure continued efficiency.
• Analyse performance of production machinery and where necessary recommend alternative/additional/replacement machinery.
• Identify and deliver all necessary training for production staff to best support ongoing company requirements.
• Assist Senior Management in achieving company targets.
• Liaise with Customer Services, Account Managers to resolve customer problem issues.
• Ensure all employee records are completed and updated on HR Partner in an accurate and timely manner.
• Support Pre Press/Printing/Finishing/Despatch departments where necessary.
• Identify and resolve all issues of quality variances in that all work undertaken fully meets customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all production plan tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
• Continuously ensure all Company procedures are adhered to; identify any variances and provide possible solutions.
• Ensure a good tidy working environment in the factory and office.

You are/have:

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience in leading a small team.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Proactively driven to take and lead task completion.
• Competent user of IT and systems (In-house training will be provided).
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Ability to follow and give instructions.

Desirable Training / Experience:

• Training on equipment / Machinery instructions (In-house training provided)
• First Aid
• Fire Safety
• Moving and handling of goods
