Multi Tradesperson and Stores Person
Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently seeking to recruit a Multi Tradesperson and Stores Person (two positions) in HM Prison Whatton (Nottinghamshire)
Multi Tradesperson
Pay rate: £15.00 - £17.00PH
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 39 hours per week
Duties:
Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks across the site.
Support skilled tradespeople with building, plumbing, and electrical work.
Carry out basic DIY tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and installations.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests as required.Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a general maintenance or building operative role.
Basic knowledge of building services and maintenance tasks.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in a secure environment.ALSO
Stores Person
Pay rate: £12.82PH
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 39 hours per week
You will provide an efficient store area fully stocked with spare parts that you have sourced at the best possible price. You will provide a high level of customer service and inform technicians when parts arrive for them. You will keep the stores area tidy and clean and store parts in an organised and orderly fashion. You will carry out monthly stock checks and ensure that all forms of PPE are readily available.
Skills and Experience:
Must be an organised person.Have excellent communication skills.
Experienced with Microsoft Programmes
Full training on systems will be provided, as will training on using keys and radios.
You will be required to have an enhanced security clearance carried out by the organisation to ensure you are able to work on site. The security clearance will require you to have photo ID such as a valid passport or photo card driving licence.
