Driver Coordinator
Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a Driver Coordinator who preferably has had experience working within the transport industry for our client based in Milton Keynes.
Duties:
To support the Transport Manager in the efficient, effective, and profitable running of the Depot in a fully legal compliant manner.
·De-briefing of drivers about KPI's, issues with journeys and errors occurred during deliveries etc.
·Process and manage customer service request logs.
·Investigate service failures and action.
·Update and upload photos taken by drivers on the system.
·Liaise with Workshop, driver, and Operations regarding all defects.
·Process and manage reports (will be fully trained on this).
·Manage Hazard & Near miss reports to successful resolution.
·Action query requests.
·Tachograph download from vehicle(s) (will be trained).
·Check drivers documentation.
·Collate documentation for audit.
·Vehicle defect reporting.
·Workshop meeting.
·PPE management.
·Investigate and reduce vehicle misuse.
·Contribute to improving Operational budget costs.
·Deputise for Senior Traffic Dispatcher when required.
ADHOC Responsibilities
·The resolving of PCNs and insurance matter if/when received.
·Stationery and provisions ordering.
·Return to Work interviews.
·Contribute to Safety at site and (Monthly) Meetings.
Pay Rate: £30,000PA
Hours: 08.30 – 17.30 Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)
